Unlike the marine layer, which often burns off by early afternoon, yesterday was deliciously cloudy for most of the day. It’s rare that we have such fluffy clouds in Southern California. I took the afternoon to go walking and shooting and captured this little gem. I live just south of our local airport and usually there’s all kinds of air traffic. The heliport is directly next-door to the airport. I didn’t have to wait long to have an aircraft fly into my composition. Bonus points because it was a helicopter. Also, there’s a raven on the wing, too! How fun is that?
